The MCAPA annual banquet, attended by a large group of professionals from the Asian community of Detroit, gave me the great honor of an invitation to be their keynote speaker and share my experiences as an immigrant entrepreneur. Many of the professionals in attendance also came to America as aspiring leaders and have embraced the pursuit of vast opportunities in business and education. I not only spoke to this group for the benefit of their endeavors, but to encourage them to pass on the message to their children. I enjoyed sharing the message of my book, Guardians of the Dream, as well as participating in the evening’s festive entertainment.
